This year the efforts of X-L-Ant, Termites East and West culminated in a collaborative performance at Park Live. This was in Alexandra Park as part of Hastings' famous Beer Festival, where the 70 young people who took part received masses of applause from the audience which comprised of their friends, family and members of the public. As an addition to the young people's performance, a breakdance set was integrated from JP (of the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever) and the Floor Crusaders. Termites West at Filsham Valley has kicked off this term to a great start. Ian Fuller, the Excellence Cluster's Dance worker, took with him Tammy (Dance Assistant), and Tina, our new 16+ Dance Volunteer. The Termites were looking great, learning new dances and working together new combinations of material they already knew. If you've been to Termites this term then

Ian Fuller is back in schools this Autumn, and will occassionally be bringing with him a special guest, the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever star JP. JP and his breakdancing group the Floor Crusaders joined Termites and X-L-Ant at Park Live over the summer and he is now coming back to teach some break dance moves to Excellence Cluster students! Please
