One parent
is absolutely delighted as she has recently been awarded GCSE Grade C
in Mathematics.
Supported by one of the Cluster Parent Advisers, she has now enrolled
on a GCSE English course.
Parent
Advisers continue to actively support parents, even if it means transporting
them to their courses.
Working with course providers in the area, one referral enrolled on Basic
English, Basic Maths and Creative Writing courses - and was so impressed,
she then referred her sister!
New

and Craft courses.

over subscribed there is a waiting list.
Advice is on hand during the course for further learning opportunities.
Researched help for Dyslexia
Researched
help is available for families with dyslexics. An accompanied and supported
parent in her first maths class now feels she will be able to go on her
own.
She is considering GCSE English in September in order to give her more
confidence to support her family's learning.
