Principles
The LSUs (PDCs) will promote short term proactive intervention through a team of trained staff by:
  • supporting schools in engaging vulnerable young people
    delivering proactive interventions in the centre and through outreach work in schools
  • offering training facilities for school staff, parents and young people by seeking to address generic blocks to learning
  • providing a base for partnership intervention and development
  • seeking to embed the models of support in cluster schools in order to sustain the work
