Learning & Teaching team in action
During April, the Learning & Teaching team have been working with students in Hollington, Christchurch, Castledown, Red Lake, Little Ridge, Churchwood, Elphinstone, St. Mary Star of the Sea primary schools.
Reading Challenge introduced
The Reading Challenge, a scheme designed to stimulate and improve reading standards in Year 3, has been introduced in Little Ridge. This scheme involves 60 Year 3 pupils and 10 students from William Parker School. The scheme is currently also operating in Churchwood School.
Shakespeare 4 Kids
The Shakespeare 4 Kids Theatre Company is making a repeat visit to Hastings in October 2005. All primary schools have been offered the opportunity to send year 6 students to the production in October at the White Rock Theatre.
