Targets
(based on existing successful practice):
  • recruit and induct staff, ensuring all are trained to a minimum standard
  • analysis of appropriate data and allocation of staff according to need
  • build on, and enhance, good practice of zone supporting schools requiring additional support
  • no schools in special measures or serious weaknesses or underachieving at the end of the Cluster
  • impact positively upon the learning of 1,500 (500 per year) young people over the course of the life of the Cluster i.e. 5% of the school population
  • 3% increase in results in KS 1, 2 and 3, from 2004 results, over the 3 year life of the Cluster
  • increase numbers achieving 5 A* - G with a 5% uplift over the 3 years
  • develop collaborative working across 'families' of schools to improve learning and teaching
  • develop routeways to enable personalised learning plans for students
  • continue to ensure additionality to the LEA's School Improvement Service (currently CfBT), whilst maintaining close links
