Who are we looking for?

• Undergraduate students who would like to work with year 11 and 12 students.
• People to work in specialised subject areas.
• A wish to help raise achievement, and increase aspirations in others.

What is the project about?

Once selected, students will come to one of our local Excellence Cluster schools for one afternoon a week. They will work alongside the teachers in the lesson as well as support identified pupils in the after school sessions.  The project is ongoing, placements are available during school term time. It will continue throughout the academic school year. Training and support will be given concerning working with children.  We are offering a generous subsistence allowance for students and this will include travel expenses.
